Planning Section

Our Planning Section is made up of the Development Control and Building Control Groups, who work closely together and in conjunction with the Strategic Housing and Planning Group, to ensure that the development of Worthing is carried out with your involvement; in accordance with legislation; following national and local guidelines and policies and to ensure that such development is safe.

As a top performing planning section, for over 10 years, we are committed to providing the best level of service we can.  Our aims are set out in our Customer Care Mission Statement and Service Standards (Codes of Practice). However, we are not content to rest on past achievements and if there is any way in which you think we can improve, then please let us know.
