Article's Rating

Worthing is blessed with being naturally flat, making it ideal for visitors and residents with mobility problems to get around.

Many of the shopping precints are pedestrianised, the town centre parks and gardens are flat as is the five miles of wide promenade.

With the introduction of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 most of  the businesses, shops, restaurants etc. are accessible to all.

There are a number of organisations that can assist you before or during your visit:

Worthing Shopmobility | Dial a Ride | RADAR | Tourism For All

Additional information on accessibility in Worthing may be obtained from the main Tourist Information Centre.
