The 2009 Worthing Business Awards will be sponsored by Worthing Borough Council.

Cllr. Ann Barlow, Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Regeneration, is pleased to announce that Worthing Borough Council is sponsoring the 2009 Worthing Business Awards on Saturday 10th October 2009 at the Worthing Pavilion. 

“The Worthing Business Awards will showcase the wealth of talent in Worthing and celebrate business achievements over the last year.  The Awards are a positive way of supporting the business community in this difficult economic climate.”

Councillor Ann Barlow, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, is delighted to welcome you to Worthing Borough Council’s business pages.

The Council is working in partnership with all major stakeholders in the town to help make Worthing a safer, cleaner, more attractive and desirable place for people to live, to carry out their work and to invest in the future.

The Council has established a number of values to help achieve the Vision and intends to use strong local leadership and customer focused services, to improve the quality of life in Worthing. The Council has made the following commitments:

  • Listen to, and be accountable to, the people of Worthing
  • Support and develop a strong business community

The time has come for Worthing to unite and create a long term plan for the economic prosperity of the Borough.  Please help us to design a strategy that will encourage economic well-being and facilitate business growth in Worthing. 
 
Business involvement in the Town Centre Masterplan process has proven invaluable, and we would very much appreciate your continued support.  We want to provide an Economic Development Strategy that reflects the needs of businesses in Worthing and that of future generations.
