You will be able to access details of
Housing Benefit records can be accessed by either the tenant or the landlord. However, as a landlord, the only details that you will be able to view will relate to tenants that you receive Housing Benefit payments for, and will only include the amount of the Housing Benefit awarded, payments made and overpayments raised. You will not be able to see the tenant's personal details.
All you need to do is sign up and we will send you a secure Personal Identification Number (PIN) by post. You will then be able to look at your account or benefit claim without having to telephone us or visit the town hall.
This service is secure, but you should always make sure that when you log in the web address starts with https:// and that your browser is showing a padlock.
In order to use Self Service you must register with us first so that we can send you a PIN (please download the guide that explains how to register, which can be found below). Once you have received your PIN, you will be asked to enter it the next time you to log on to Self Service but after that you will only need your user name and password.
