Field Place

Field Place is a fine example of an 18th Century English Country House and has a unique atmosphere of tranquility which has been created by generations of local well-known families. Steeped in history and situated in eight acres of pleasant grounds, Field Place is the ideal venue for Meetings, Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, Seminars, Plays and Dances.

Field Place offers many sporting opportunities, indoors and outdoor. The site has 4 bowling greens, 2 pentanque pistes, putting green and a children's playground

Main House

Within the main house there are seven rooms at Field Place, accommodating between 16 - 80 people, these are available for hire for conferences and functions.

The Art Centre

Originally a barn, the Craft Centre is newly modernised and fully equipped with lights and facilities for art and pottery, including potters wheels. Courses are run throughout the year.

The Barn

This is a modern barn conversion with real wood beams and a lot of character. It has a stage and is regularly used throughout the year as a drama venue. Field Place has its own resident drama group. It is also fully equipped for functions, exhibitions and meetings. Programmes for future productions are available on request.

The Pavilion

There are five rooms in the Pavilion including the large hall which caters for 120 people.

Pond Lane

This Amenity room is suitable for children’s parties and provides tea making facilities.

Note: It is possible to provide some of the available rooms with a Public Address system as well as TV, Video, Over Head Projectors and screens.

Full catering can also be arranged upon request.
