Worthing Lido and Pier, Substructures long term maintenance contract
Commencing April 2012 

Applications are invited from suitably experienced contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion on a list of contractors from which firms may be invited to tender for the maintenance contract for the Worthing Pier & Lido Substructures.

Registration on Construction Line would be an advantage.

The Contract consists of the reactive and planned maintenance and inspection of the two substructures inclusive of the Pier’s timber landing stage. The work will include the manufacture, fabrication and replacement of all necessary timber, steel and cast iron elements inclusive of fixtures and fixings as necessary.

Where possible a partnership approach to the delivery of this contract will be encouraged.

All works can be carried out within the tidal envelope without the need for diving.

Details of applicants will be held on computer and registered in accordance with current data protection legislation.
