Report Anti Social Behaviour at Drop-in Surgery

Released: 12 Jun 2007

The next anti-social behaviour 'drop-in' surgery will be held from 10am until 12noon Friday 16 June at Portland House, Richmond Road.  The surgery, run by the Council's ASB team, gives residents the opportunity to report any anti-social behaviour and offers them the facility to discuss any matters on a confidential basis. No appointment is necessary!

The Council's ASB co-ordinator, Natasha Allen, said:

"If you are experiencing anti-social behaviour where you live and want to find out what you can do to help stop it come along to the monthly drop-ins. Or you can visit www.worthing.gov.uk to find out more about the work of the CDRP and the various ways that you can report this and environmental crime such as graffiti and fly tipping."

Worthing's ASB, which is part of the Worthing Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP), encourages residents to come forward and report anti social behaviour. ASB causes distress to one or more people not of the same household and takes many forms - screaming or shouting at any time of the day, using foul or abusive language in a public place, extreme drunken behaviour in a public place, vandalism to property, playing loud music and intimidation or threatening attitudes.

The ASB team can be contacted on 01903 221430
