Active for Life 50+ four week courses

Released: 16 Feb 2010

How are your New Year’s resolutions going? Must get fitter? Must loose weight? Must take up a new interest?

Well, now is your chance! Worthing and Adur’s Well Being Team, in partnership with Worthing Leisure Centre External Link - This link takes you to another website, is offering a four week course in Ballroom Dancing for Improvers; Exercise to Music; Nordic Walking; Table Tennis; and Tai Chi.

All the courses begin on Friday 5th March and are aimed at people over 50. They are scheduled over the lunchtime period to enable people still working to attend.

Ballroom Dancing is for people with some experience, whilst all the other courses cater for anyone with little, or no, existing level of skill. Equipment is provided where necessary.

There is also the opportunity to continue after the course has ended, by joining the weekly sessions at the Leisure Centre or by joining a local group already in existence.
