This is possibly the last edition of Vibe as the magazine and also the Adur Outlook magazine External Link - This link takes you to another website are under review and might possibly combine to become one joint magazine to cover both council areas to reflect our joint working arrangements.

The magazine is delivered to all households and businesses in the Worthing Borough via Royal Mail Door-to-Door delivery service. This edition was delivered from 7 June but please do let Wendy Knight on 01903 221017 know if you did not get a copy and we will arrange to get one posted.

Each edition, costing just over 16p, is packed with lots of interesting information about the services you receive from the Council and probably some you aren't even aware are provided! There is also a comprehensive 'What's On Guide' for the times when you need some inspiration!

In this edition

  • You are invited to the community celebration for the brand new Maybridge Keystone Club on Saturday 24 July – check the local media for details.
  • Worthing as you know is the home of world class bowls and you can read what tournaments are planned for this summer,
  • Have you been to Victoria Park which now has a fabulous new £100K playground installed as part of the £500K investment in all playgrounds in the borough?
  • The best of Worthing’s artists have set up shop in 5 new artist studios beach chalets near to Splash Point.  They are showcasing sculpture, painting, stained glass and more…
  • You can pull-out the new contact details for your ward councilors in the middle section of the magazine.
  • And finally just complete the wordsearch and you might win one of two family VIP passes to the Worthing International Birdman rally to include a £25 voucher towards refreshments in the Café Denton – can’t be bad!

Don’t forget we always want to know about how we are performing so we have set up a Worthing citizen’s panel called ‘Talkback’. If you are interested in joining the panel and getting involved in the decision making process why not call Sarah Garbutt on 01903 221109 or email sarah.garbutt@worthing.gov.uk.

We always like to know what you think so please give us your feedback about the magazine.

Enjoy your read!
