VIBE Magazine
The local magazine from Worthing Borough Council

Welcome to our Spring 2010 VIBE edition

Vibe Spring 2010 Edition

The magazine is delivered to all households and businesses in the Worthing Borough via Royal Mail Door-to-Door delivery service. This edition was delivered from 15 February 2010 but please do let Wendy Knight on 01903 221017 know if you did not get a copy delivered to you.

Each edition, costing just over 16p, is packed with lots of interesting information about the services you receive from the Council and probably some you aren't even aware are provided! There is also a comprehensive 'What's On Guide' for the times when you need some inspiration!

In this edition we are proud to announce the £650k makeover for the former Maybridge Boys Club built in the 1950's.

We are asking you for your memories to go onto some special 'boulders' as part of the fantastic redevelopment of Splash Point.

And can you believe it the Connaught is celebrating 75 years of wonderful entertainment this year - Happy Birthday!

Don’t forget we always want to know about how we are performing so we have set up a Worthing citizens panel called ‘Talkback’. If you are interested in joining the panel and getting involved in the decision making process why not call Sarah Garbutt on 01903 221109 or email sarah.garbutt@worthing.gov.uk. Over to you!

And finally you can win a three-month Fit 4 voucher to get fit and healthy this year.  All you need to do is complete the wordsearch and send it back to us by the end of March.

We always like to know what you think so please give us your feedback about the magazine.

Enjoy your read!

Audio VIBE and Large Print

A new audio VIBE service has now been introduced, through the Voice of Progress in Rustington (see feature on page 27 of the spring 2008 edition).  If you know of anyone who would benefit please contact Wendy Knight (see below for details) who will be pleased to arrange for a copy to be sent.  We can also provide large print version as well.
