Wheelchair Accessible Taxis - Special Dedicated Service

Both the Worthing Taxi Association and Worthing Borough Council have expressed concern that, despite the increasing number of wheelchair accessible taxis licensed within the borough, complaints are still being received from disabled members of the public stating that there are insufficient available when they want or need one.

Worthing Borough Council has consistently attempted to encourage the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire industries to provide more Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles.

In response Worthing Taxi Association is proud to launch a special hotline for those needing a Wheelchair Accessible Taxi. The number will be manned from 07.00hrs to 00.00hrs (midnight) seven days a week.
