Worthing Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity which offers information and free, independent and confidential advice on every subject, including debt, benefits, housing, law, immigration, consumer matters and relationship issues.  The Bureau staff is fully trained and is provided with up-to-date information from Citizens Advice, a national network of Citizens Advice bureaux, whose aims include influencing policymakers.  Located in North Street in central Worthing, Worthing Citizens Advice Bureau provides outreach sessions in four different locations across the Borough.   It can be contacted by phone, email or texting.

Advice sessions

Mondays to Thursdays 9.30 am to 4.00 pm

plus Wednesdays 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm (by appointment only)

Outreach sessions

Maybridge Community Church:  Wednesdays 10.00 am to 1.00 pm

Durrington Health Centre:  Fridays 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm

Worthing County Court:  Mondays 9.30 am to 1.30 pm

Stray Cats, East Worthing:  Tuesdays 10.00 am to 1.00 pm (fortnightly)

If you choose to go to the Bureau, you will be offered an initial 10 minute interview. This helps find out whether you need a booking for a longer appointment with an Adviser, need to bring some more documents, or whether you need a referral to a specialist adviser or to another agency.  Other ways of helping you could also be identified.

On the other hand, if you just want to access some information quickly, a Self Help Room offers opportunity for you to do this.

Information from Citizens Advice is available 24 hours on www.adviceguide.org.uk

The website of Worthing Citizens Advice Bureau (  www.worthingcab.org ) provides further information about the organisation, including details of how you could help this charity by volunteering or through a donation.
