James Appleton, Executive Head of Planning, Regeneration and Wellbeing is pleased to announce that Adur and Worthing Councils have appointed a joint Regeneration Manager, Clare Mangan.
Clare's first priority is to develop a joint Regeneration Team to stimulate investment in the area, support the needs of businesses and deliver key regeneration projects across the two authorities.
The council is very grateful to the Worthing business community for the information they kindly provided, during the Economic Development Action Plan. This information will form an essential part of the forthcoming Economic Action Plan for Worthing.
Joint working with Adur District Council has provided an opportunity to design an Economic Development Strategy, to enable economic development across boundaries and encourage further investment in the area. A key priority for the joint Regeneration Team is to undertake a consultation program, with the Adur business community, prior to designing the Economic Action Plan.
