The Council plays a key role in implementing projects as part of the Worthing Economic Development Strategy and uses discretionary revenue funding on an annual basis to deliver a variety of initiatives.

The Council's Economic Development Unit is charged with providing Council assistance and support to the Worthing business community wherever possible, from the provision of information and advice for companies, to assisting businesses in their dealings with other sections of the Council.
