This Cemetery is the Town's main site for burials. The interment of ashes also takes place with the facility for memorialisation. The site contains many fine trees including Arbutus and has been designated a site of nature and conservation importance (S.N.C.I.).
Area 17 hectares.
Due to anti-social behaviour taking place consistently at Durrington Cemetery involving anti-social driving, drug related crime and vandalism of the grounds and headstones, the gates of Durrington Cemetery will be closed at dusk each night as follows:
