Directions By Public Transport

  • Bus

Unfortunately public transport is not recommended due to the busy A24 and the long drive way from the entrance of the Crematorium to the chapels.

Take the number 1 bus from Worthing to Findon Village. At Findon Village you will have to cross the very busy A24 dual carriageway and walk for about 200 yards along the verge to the Crematorium entrance. The Crematorium is about 1 mile from the entrance.

Directions By Road

  • To get to Worthing Crematorium from THE EAST (Brighton, Eastbourne etc.)

Follow the A27 from Brighton westbound to Worthing. Continue over the first roundabout (Grove Lodge) with the A24 to the second roundabout with the A24 (Offington Corner) signed for Horsham and London. Take the A24 north at the Offington Corner roundabout and head north through Findon Valley for two and a half miles when you meet the A280 on a roundabout. Continue straight on heading north on the A24 dual carriageway and turn off at the signed Worthing Crematorium entrance.

  • To get to Worthing Crematorium from THE EAST and NORTH EAST (London, Kent, East Anglia etc.)

If heading from THE EAST of London or Kent we recommend taking the M25 clockwise to junction 7, take the Brighton bound exit ramp at Mertsham Interchange with the M23.

Continue heading south towards Brighton. (At junction 11 of the M23 it becomes the A23.) At Brighton you will meet the A27 at Patcham Interchange, take the left lane to merge onto the A27 and follow the directions for THE EAST (Brighton).

Alternative Route: You can alternatively leave the M23 at junction 11 and take the A264 to Horsham. Continue on the A264 until you meet the A24 and take the left exit signed towards Worthing. Continue south for approximately fifteen miles until you reach the roundabout with the A280 at Findon, take the right lane on approach to the roundabout and turn around and head north on the A24 again, and turn off at the signed Worthing Crematorium entrance. You cannot turn right across the dual carriageway into the crematorium entrance, you must turn around at the roundabout.

  • To get to Worthing Crematorium from THE WEST (Chichester, Portsmouth etc.)

Follow the A27 eastbound through Chichester and Arundel. Before you reach Worthing you will reach a junction signed for the A280 and West Worthing. Exit the A27 here and at the roundabout take the A280 (second exit) signed for Horsham. Continue for 3.5 miles along the A280 to the roundabout with the A24 at Findon. Take the left exit on to the A24 signed Horsham and turn off at the signed Worthing Crematorium entrance. You cannot turn right across the dual carriageway into the crematorium entrance, you must turn around at the roundabout.

  • To get to Worthing Crematorium from THE WEST and NORTH WEST (London, Reading, Luton etc.)

Take the M25 anti-clockwise until junction 9 at Leatherhead signed the A243/A24 and Dorking. Follow the A243 (A24) Dorking signs, you will leave the M25 and go underneath it. Continue for a mile and over the roundabout (which has westbound exit/entry ramps for the M25) again following the signs for the A243 (A24). At the next roundabout you will meet the A24 so continue over the roundabout and now you will now be on the A24.

Continue southbound through Dorking to Horsham (16 miles) to the A280 roundabout at Findon (15 miles from Horsham), turn around at the roundabout to head north again on the A24 and turn off at the signed Worthing Crematorium entrance. You cannot turn right across the dual carriageway into the crematorium entrance, you must turn around at the roundabout.
