Becket Residents' Association

  • Aims: enhance community spirit, promote neighbourly activity and continually seek to improve the street scene and general environment in which we live; organise active social diary, formal monthly meeting;  raise funds for charity.
  • Membership requirements:  private resident in Highdown Avenue, Chantry Road, Highfield Road, Northfield Road, sourth side of Littlehampton Road between Chantry Road and Thomas a Becket, west side of Rectory Road between Thomas a Becket and Highdown Avenue.

Broadwater (Worthing) Community Association

  • Aims: raise funds to build a community centre in Broadwater for the use of all the populace;  run the Broadwater Parish Rooms;  conduct fund raising events, and weekly Bingo on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
  • Membership Requirements:  Fee of £2 a year (£1 under 18 years old) or £10 for a 5 year membership, which includes a quarterly newsletter.

Central Worthing Residents Association

  • Aims:  To protect, preserve, and improve the quality of life in central Worthing for residents.  Also to ensure that this Association is non-party-political and that we treat all residents equally regardless of their colour or creed.
  • Membership requirements:  A residential address within the geographical area of central Worthing plus a fee currently set at £2 per year per household which includes regular newsletters and open meetings.

East Worthing Action Group

  • Aims:  represent the interests of the residents of Selden Ward in order to resist any developments that might have a negative effect on the quality of life in the area and encourage developments which would enhance the quality of life.

East Worthing Community Association

Findon Valley Residents Association

  • Aims: provide a medium by which residents of the Valley, and others with an established interest in the collective affairs and interests of the Valley, may communicate with affecting bodies and authorities and reprsent to those bodies a consensual opinion to and for the public benefit;  publish, promote and preserve for the Valley's community, other items, aspects, areas and undertakings of common interest.
  • Membership Requirements: Findon Valley residential address, or with other legitimate interest in the Valley (Vale School parents, those in business there but living elsewhere).

Goring Residents' Association

Goring Chase Residents' Association Ltd

  • Aims: represent, as private limited company, the interests of the leaseholders of Goring Chase, a private residential development of 3 houses (Willow House, Rowan House and Maple House) together comprising 46 purpose built flats, both owner occupied and sub-let;  manage the maintenance of Goring Chase;  conduct Annual General Meeting, often with guest speaker from the wider community.

Heene Community Association

  • Aims: entertain a wide variety of age groups from babies to retired;  provide cafe facilities 3 days a week, supplying a 2 course lunch for under £4;  let rooms for meetings, exhibitions etc.
  • Membership requirements: £5 a year from January to December;  £1.30 to £2.00 per Heene Group session, including tea or coffee.

High Street Tarring Residents' Association

High Salvington Residents' Association

South Broadwater Residents' Association

  • Aims:  promote and encourage public interest in the appearance and life of the South Broadwater area.
  • Membership requirements: be a resident of the area bounded by the railway line, Broadwater Road, Sompting Avenue and Dominion Road.  Fee / donation £1 per person annually includes newsletters and two open meetings per year.  You are invited to like our Facebook page where you will get regular updates of issues and campaigns we are involved in. 

The Community House

The Ilex Conservation Group
