Increasingly public services are planned and delivered by organisations working together in partnerships focused on particular issues such as health or community safety. Worthing Together tries to ensure that the work of individual partnerships is brought into one overall plan. Worthing Together’s Action Plan includes monitoring the West Sussex Local Area Agreement in Worthing and leading the delivery of two Outcomes:

    • Outcome 21: To build strong communities with empowered people involved in local decision-making and influencing service delivery
    • Outcome 22: To improve the quality of life in the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods
  • Developing the Council’s relationship with key organisations in the voluntary and community sector (VCS) and supporting the VCS to help build its capacity.
