Residents have your say

Article's Rating

A number of schemes are being planned in 2006 to engage residents in the work of the CDRP. This is aimed at raising awareness of the work of the CDRP and encouraging people to report local issues.

There are many ways in which local residents can have their say:

  • Worthing Street Briefings - these will involve members of the CDRP coming out to local areas to meet with residents and take reports. All action taken will be reported back to residents;
  • Local Action Team - if you have a specific problem that needs addressing a multi-agency LAT could be established. Contact your local councillor or the Community Safety Unit for further information;
  • Reporting issues to the Community Safety Unit through the reporting  numbers provided on the Worthing Community Safety Unit page.
  • Contact your local Councillor for advice, help and support with an issue.
  • County Local Committees (CLC's) - these are held on a quarterly basis in Worthing to address any issues raised. All residents are welcome to attend. http://www.westsussex.gov.uk/ccm/navigation/your-council/county-local-committees/
