Three Stray Dogs

Lost and Stray dogs can be a danger to themselves and others. Whilst most dog owners love and care for their animals those that do not meet their obligations can cause real problems. To address these concerns Worthing Borough Council has a dedicated Dog Warden whose responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with stray dogs.
  • Investigating dog related complaints.
  • Giving advice and information.
  • Enforcement of laws relating to dog fouling; dogs on leads and dog identification discs.
  • Regular patrolling of parks, streets and other open spaces within the Borough.
  • Educational activities such as an annual road show, presentations to schools and other organisations.
  • Micro Chipping for just £15.00 a dog.
