Ecofaith Sussex

Ecofaith Sussex is a partnership of organisations including West Sussex County Council (through the ESPACE project), Arun, Chichester, Crawley, Horsham, Mid Sussex and Worthing District and Borough Councils, and Eaga Partnership. The project focuses on sustainability for faith groups wishing to reduce their environmental impact and adopt a more sustainable way of living, working and worshipping.

To help achieve this a series of seminars is taking place focussing on different areas of sustainability. The Ecofaith programme was launched in November with a seminar on energy, which advised churches how they could save money and combat climate change by reducing energy consumption. So far around 25 groups have become involved, but it is hoped many more will join.
