The provision of regulated entertainment, including live music, recorded music and dance, in front of an audience requires the authority of a 'Premises Licence' or a 'Temporary Event Notice' under the terms of the Licensing Act 2003.

Worthing Borough Council and its partner Worthing Town Centre Initiative have licensed a number of areas within the borough to allow entertainment to be staged for the public. These include a number of parks, gardens, areas of the foreshore and a number of streets in the town centre.

If you wish to busk or stage any event on the highway (including pedestrianised areas) within the town centre you should contact the Town Centre Manager - Mrs. Sharon Clarke - 01903 203252.

To stage an event in one of Worthing's parks, gardens or on the seafront please contact the council's Culture and Leisure Services - 01903 239999
