News Bulletin: Driver Training, (updated April 2010)

The Council's training partner for the BTEC and NVQ qualifications

is PDM Training and Consultancy Ltd.,  To arrange for the BTEC, email to Stuart Crosby, the Regional Accounts Manager, at stuart.crosby@pdmtc.co.uk, with your details.  He will send you a flyer.  You will need to pay the course fee to go on a list for the next course they run.  Courses are held quite often, as this company are also training for Brighton, Adur, Mid Sussex, Horsham, and Lewes.

The Driving Standards Agency recommend a refesher session with a professional driving instructor before taking the driving assessment for taxi drivers. More information can be had from thte DSA website at http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/action/layer?topicId=1082155067

The Council is aware that the following Company is offering training to assist prospective drivers to pass the Knowledge Test. Worthing Borough Council is not able to recommend any particular company, and suggests that applicants make their own enquiries before signing up with this or any similar organisations.
