Healthy Workplace Award

The Worthing Healthy Workplace Project has been established to promote Healthy Workplace Awards across Worthing.

Worthing Borough Council in partnership with West Sussex PCT are offering all businesses in Worthing the chance to work towards achieving a Healthy Workplace Award.

Participation in the Worthing Healthy Workplace Project can assist your business in addressing high staff turnover, high sickness absence, and to increase the morale and motivation of you employees.
In turn your employees will benefit from healthier working conditions, having easily accessible health information  in their workplace and importantly working for an employer who values their health.

To help your business become healthier, happier, and more productive, we can assist you by supporting any health initiatives and providing health information resources to your business such as Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace. We can also assist your business in its application for a Worthing Healthy Workplace Award, and we will be seeking all opportunities to promote those businesses that seek to get involved in the project.

If you would like to know any more about the Healthy Workplace Project and Awards, please contact Claire King, Healthy Workplace Officer, Environmental Health, Worthing Borough Council, 01903 221224, or email claire.king@worthing.gov.uk .

This project is also running across the Arun District Council area, if your business is located in this area please contact the Health and Safety Team on 01903 737755.
