The Housing Solutions team at Worthing Borough Council are committed to helping prevent or resolve threatened homelessness.
If you think you’re about to become homeless get advice, contact Housing Services. Our officers will explore all options available to help resolve your housing difficulties.
The Housing Solutions team also provides choice, advice and support for people that often enables them to resolve their own housing problems.
The housing solutions approach is able to assess and aim to resolve difficulties at an earlier stage than any formal legislation is able to. This helps to remove frequent causes of pressure associated with threatened homelessness, such as living in bed and breakfast accommodation, landlord’s seeking Court Orders to gain Possession of property and recovery of Court costs and being unable to choose the area within Worthing in which people wish to live.

- Disputes between landlords and tenants - including harassment and illegal eviction.
