The Team
The Foreshore team employs seasonal staff to complement the existing three full time inspectors. The Beach Inspectors office, is located on the Promenade at Worthing between the Pier and the Lido.
With an Auxiliary Coast guard and a qualified Yacht Master as part of the team, you will be well looked after when visiting Worthing’s beaches.
All of those staff who are responsible for driving the inspectors boats have obtained a minimum Level 2 Royal Yachting Association Power Boat Certificate and all of the officers hold First Aid Certificates and VHF Radio Licenses.
When it comes to tides, weather and the sea these officers are experts.
