Friends of Worthing Museum

The Friends of Worthing Museum were set up over thirty years ago by a group of enthusiasts who wanted to support the Museum in any way they could. The group is still lively and runs an excellent programme of lectures on the third Tuesday of each month.

Over the years the Friends have raised a considerable amount of money to help us buy objects we could not otherwise afford. Their President, Mary Rosenberg, organised the fundraising which led to the installation of a lift in the Museum in memory of her husband Dr Henry Rosenberg.

As well as raising money some members of the Friends do voluntary work in the Museum and a number are regular helpers at our special events and children's workshops.

Membership of the Friends is a bargain at £8 a year.

Programme of Talks

All talks will be held in the Education Room at Worthing Museum.  Talks start at 2.30 pm - doors open at 2 pm.  Fee per meeting Members - £1.00, Visitors £2.00
