Would you like to dedicate a bench in memory of a loved one?

Worthing Borough Council can provide a memorial seat complete with plaque on Council owned land.  In order to maintain continuity throughout our parks and open spaces, the Council restricts the type of bench it uses according to each site.  (Please see below for details of benches and locations)

The price of a bench is approximately £800.00.  This includes VAT, installation, the plaque (maximum of 15 words), and maintenance.

Location: Various Parks (Broadwater Green, Manor Grounds, Victoria Park, Homefield Park).

The Eastgate Seat

Location: Town Centre shopping areas and sunken garden at Steyne Gardens.

The Lionshead 

The Lionshead Seat

Location: Beach House Park, Beach House Grounds, Denton Gardens, Field Place, Marine Gardens, Marine Parade between Windsor Road and George V Avenue, Steyne Gardens (except sunken garden) and Amelia Park

The Woodland Seat

Location: Downs Highdown North and South Fields, Open Spaces
