This site located off of the seafront on the border with the neighbouring town of Lancing was once a Council waste tip until reclaimed in the late 1950’s is now a large (45 acres) open space offering a range of sports and leisure facilities around an 8 acre boating lake. 

The site also has a miniature railway, childrens playground, café, nine hole Par 3 golf course, pitch n putt, putting green, go-kart track together with some landscaped areas that provide year round interest for all ages.

Christmas Opening for Diddly Train and Santa’s Grotto at Brooklands and Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride along Sea Front

Saturday 6 December to Tuesday 23 December the Diddly Christmas train will run on Mondays to Fridays between 1pm to 6pm, Saturdays and Sundays it will run between 11am to 6pm. On Christmas eve, it will run from 11am to 3pm. Cost per person for this Christmas ride will be £2

Santa’s Grotto will also be available during the same times as the train, cost is £5 per child.

In addition to this, there will be a Horse drawn (Sorry Rudolf and his team have a more important duty at this time of year) sleigh rides along the seafront between the Pier and Heene Terrace and back. The cost per person will be £5. The sleigh can accommodate a minimum of four persons and a maximum of 8 persons per (return) ride.

Please note that pre bookings are not being taken for these activities.
