2008/09 Capital Programme

  • Replacing a worn out roundabout at Pennycress Avenue playground with a new flush fitting roundabout – Work to commence on site imminently
  • Re-surfacing under the Junior swing unit at Victoria Park – Work to commence on site imminently
  • Replacing a worn out Multi Play Unit at Northbrook Rec and surfacing and replacing with a modern contemporary Multi Play Unit and another smaller play item along with new rubber safer surfacing – Actual item is to be agreed, installation expected in May 2009.

Projects which involve rubber safer surfacing cannot take place during or if frost is expected due to the nature of the works and so may be delayed a few days until the temperature rises above freezing.
