The competition is now closed - Winners were announced at the Worthing In Bloom 'Oscar Style' Presentation evening on Monday 7 September 2009 at Field Place.  A full results list is available in pdf format or alternatively visit the Results pages.

Who can enter?

Everyone who lives in the Borough of Worthing and any company/school that is situated in the Borough is welcome to enter.  The competition is FREE.

Cover - 2009 Entry Form 

Worthing In Bloom competition kicks off in January with Create A Picture competition where local children are encouraged to design a picture with the idea of Worthing In Bloom.  The winning picture is then printed on 1500 entry forms which are displayed in all libraries, the Town Hall, Leisure Centres and Theatres. 

There will be classes for gardens, hanging baskets/tubs, allotments etc (details to be finalised in November 2009)

Largest diameter sunflower
Best conservation garden
Best allotment
Best single hanging basket/tub New Category
Best domestic front garden New Category
Best commercial garden New Category
Best horticultural photograph in Worthing New Category

Just for the children

Best Garden for Schools and Youth Groups
Create a Picture

 

Prizes

Worthing In Bloom is very fortunate by being sponsored by local and national companies.

By doing so, we are able to offer winners cash prizes, vouchers, seeds, media coverage, trophies and certificates.

At the award presentation in September 2009 we were also able to provide a complimentery buffet.
