Complaints (Planning)

Article's Rating

We are committed to providing you with high quality services.  But we know that sometimes things can go wrong and we would like to try and put them right whenever we can.  Moreover, we can only learn from and correct our mistakes if you let us know what you think we might be doing wrong.  The Council is committed to continuously improving all the services that we provide and have developed a Complaints procedure, which we hope you will find easy to understand and use.

We hope in the first instance you will phone or write to the person who you have been dealing with.  If having done this you are not satisfied with the response, please contact the Planning Services Section's Support Services Manager, Peter Goldfinch, who will be pleased to help you.

Either write to:

or email: planning@worthing.gov.uk

or telephone: 01903 221365

Our complaints procedure has been prepared to deal with complaints you may have about the way we do or have done things.  It is not designed to deal with complaints about alleged breaches of planning or building regulation control by third parties.  We have a separate enforcement system for dealing with complaints about such matters.

What are these for?

Facebook, Delicious, Magnolia and Newsvine allow you to bookmark (or favourite) this and other pages on the Internet. You can then access these bookmarks from any computer in the world. For example you can have your bookmarks available on your home and work computer at all times. That makes life easier when you can't find that web page!

These websites are called Social Bookmarking sites. The social part comes from the ability to share your bookmarks with friends, family and anybody else with similar interests to you. You can also make your bookmarks private for only you to see.

If you do not have an account with these services you may need to register the first time. You can also easily e-mail this page to someone you know by clicking the 'Email to a friend' option.
