Mobile phone masts

Page Rating

The mobile phone companies are required to publish their plans for new phone masts each year. Access to the schedules from the companies who have supplied information to the council is now available.

There are already many mast sites in Worthing. More are expected in order to meet the continuing growth in the use of mobile phones and also the development of new technology such as 3G and beyond.

The information acts as an early warning to the council on the likely applications to come forward during the next 12 months. If you wish to make a comment prior to the application about any particular proposal please contact us.

Some of the sites on the list have already had planning permission, but are still to be erected. Any new applications the council receives will be available for people to see and comment on. Neighbours will be notified, a site notice displayed, a public notice put in the newspaper and the residents association informed if there is one.
