Planning Committee

Introduction

Planning applications which are regarded as more complex or controversial are determined by the Planning Committee, which meets every four weeks, usually on a Wednesday at 2.00pm in the Gordon Room at the Town Hall.

To assist the Committee with the decision making-process, our Planning Officers prepare reports on the applications to be determined.  These reports are concerned with the planning issues and also include the Executive Head of Planning, Regeneration and Wellbeings' recommendations on the decisions that the Committee should consider.

The link in the table below will take you to the Committee Items page where you can view the plans and supporting documents for Planning Applications to be decided by the Planning Committee.
