Where, What and Opening Times

West Sussex County Council has comprehensive information on Household Waste Recycling Sites External Link - This link takes you to another website covering the whole of West Sussex including Adur and Worthing. The pages also explain what each site can accept and opening hours, you should consult these pages for the most up to date information. Do note that the sites operate different opening hours during winter and summer.

Mornings tend to be the busiest and most congested times therefore we recommend you try to avoid this time of day. Later afternoons and early evenings are the quietest period.

West Sussex County Council provides 12 Household Waste Recycling Sites for the public to use to dispose of their own household waste.

If the item(s) you want to dispose of is too bulky or impractical to get to a Household Waste Recycling Site yourself, you should contact us for a Bulky Waste Collection.
