
Worthing makes a good place to cycle around whether using the shops, for pleasure or for travelling to work.
The recent 12 month trial (March 2010 - 2011) of shared pedestrian and cycling on the promenade between Splashpoint and George V Avenue was successful and the Council's Cabinet has approved this on a permanent basis.

The West Sussex Transport Plan sets out the key transport objectives for the whole county, the Cycling Strategy sets out to ensure that we work towards these objectives and that cycling is promoted as a realistic alternative to motor transport.
