Within the Technical Services Section the Estates Team provide an Estate Management service for the Council, and are responsible for acquisition, disposal and the day to day management of the portfolio of property and land which the Council own.

The types of properties owned by the Council include shops, Offices, Industrial Premises, (including small starter units), Leisure concessions, Farmland, etc.

Sometimes the Council wishes to acquire property for specific schemes and sell property and land, which are surplus to requirements the Estates Team deal with this function

The Estates Team comprises of a highly professional and dedicated small team of 4 staff, headed by Steve Coe a Chartered Surveyor .The rest of the team includes a Principal Estates Officer, Estates Officer and Estates Technician.
