Support Services Team

The Support Services aim is to provide an effective, efficient and professional service to its internal and external customers, and to regularly review procedures and services to ensure continuous improvement.

The Support Services team is currently led by Pat Willcox and comprises a Team Secretary, and 5 Support Services Assistants.

The multi-skilled Support Services Team provides the Executive Head of Technical Services, Estates, Surveying & Design Services, and Engineering Services teams with the full range of administrative, clerical, GIS software, website management, system implementation and general system support.

In addition, the Team provides a variety of services to Worthing Borough Council and the public direct; these include:-

  • Ordnance Survey map extracts
  • Management of approved contractors lists, specialist contractors, and consultants
  • Processing of contractors orders and invoices (approximately 5,000 orders and 5,000 invoices per annum
