The Cabinet
The Cabinet comprises the Leader of the Council, the Deputy Leader and five Cabinet Members, each of whom has his/her own portfolio of responsibilities.
The Cabinet as a whole or individual Cabinet Members take all major decisions affecting the Borough.
The Council publishes a Forward Plan each month which sets out the key decisions likely to be taken over the next four months. Copies of the Plan are available for inspection at the Town Hall and at local libraries. The Plan can also be viewed on the Council's website.
