Standards Committee

The Standards Committee

The Council has a Standards Committee.  One of its functions is to promote and maintain high standards of conduct for Members.  It also deals with complaints referred to it.

The Committee of 10 comprises 6 elected Councillors and 4 non-Councillor Independent Members. It is chaired by an Independent Member.  Please see the attached terms of reference document setting out its role.
