Important Maintenance July-November 2008: You will find that we are doing a lot of work on the Your Council section in early July, to vastly improve the ease of use.
You will see that some information on each councillor's profiles is empty at the moment. We are working to fill in the gaps very quickly. No information has been removed, we are adding to it.
Councillors are not employees of the Council. They are local people elected to represent the people of the town, and they make decisions on their behalf. They all give up a great deal of their own time to serve their local community.
Most meetings are open to members of the public, unless business of a confidential nature is being discussed. There is a public question time at every meeting which gives everyone an opportunity to ask questions relating to the agenda for that meeting.

The political split of Worthing Borough Council is:
- 25 Conservative Councillors
- 12 Liberal Democrats Councillors.
