With effect from 1 September 2006, Cabinet Members can take decisions on a regular weekly basis, rather than just once every eight weeks in a formal meeting setting.
One of the aims of the new system is to ensure wider consultation with the public and to involve all interested parties in the decision-making process.
Although the public will no longer have the opportunity to attend Cabinet Member meetings and ask public questions, they will be able to access the reports in advance of any decisions being taken and can then contact either their local Ward Councillors or the Cabinet Members direct to express their views.
The Bulletins in this section will contain details of the reports presented to the individual Cabinet Members and their decisions taken.
