What Does This Committee Do?

This committee is responsible for the following:

• To make recommendations to the respective Councils, where such is considered desirable;
• To determine or make recommendations to the Joint Strategic Committee in relation to matters of planning policy or that affects planning policy reserved to the Cabinets of each Council (sitting as the Joint Strategic Committee) and where such is considered desirable;
• To advise the Cabinets (sitting as the Joint Strategic Committee) on any matters relating to claims and payments or statutory compensation arising from decisions on planning matters.
