David Brown
Consort of the Borough of Worthing 2008/2009
David is Consort to Cllr Christine Brown who is Mayor of the Borough of Worthing.
David was born and educated in Worthing. After working for Cable and Wireless in their advertising section he trained to be a school teacher. He worked at Durrington Middle School where he was responsible for Boys' Sports and then for Science Development throughout the school. For many years he was on the school's Governing Body with responsibility for staffing and finance. Due to ill health he had to retire from the teaching profession in 1997 and then he worked for a local computer company.
Apart from his interests in his family and grandchildren, David's hobbies include playing golf and 'Living History'.
